What is Data Retention? 

Data retention refers to policies that define how long organizations store data such as customer information, access records, attendance logs, reports, and internal documents. These policies help organizations maintain legal compliance, manage storage efficiently, and ensure proper data lifecycle management.

The Data Retention section provides information about the organization’s configured data retention period and explains how long organizational data will remain stored in the system before permanent deletion. 

This section displays an important notice informing administrators that once the retention period expires, all eligible organizational data stored in the system will be permanently deleted. The deletion process is automatic and irreversible.

Administrators are advised to back up all important data before the retention deadline to avoid permanent data loss.

The notice also explains that if the organization requires a longer retention duration, the retention period can be customized by contacting the support team.
