Wiring Explanation for technician

• Power Supply (SMPS / Adapter 12V DC)
  • Connect VIN (RED) of Entry & Exit readers together
  • Connect GND (BLACK) of Entry & Exit readers together
  • Power both readers from same 12V SMPS/Adapter

• Entry Reader Relay Wiring
  • Short VIN (RED) → COM (BROWN) of Entry Reader
  • This feeds power into the relay

• Lock Wiring (Magnetic Lock)
  • Short NC (PURPLE) of Entry Reader → COM (BROWN) of Exit Reader
  • Use NC (PURPLE) of Exit reader for magnetic lock
  • Lock +   →   NC (PURPLE) of Exit Reader
  • Lock –   →   GND (BLACK)

• Door Sensor
  • Connect Door Sensor only to Entry Reader
  • Required for DOTL (Door Open Too Long)

• Limitations
  • Door break-in feature NOT supported in this configuration

Important Notes

• Magnetic lock = NC only
• Both readers control the same lock
• Ensure common ground everywhere
