Temporary Access

Temporary Access allows administrators to grant users access to specific doors or areas for a predefined period. Access is automatically revoked once the assigned duration expires, ensuring secure and controlled access management. Access can be provided using either a QR Code or a PIN with configurable start and end times.
Navigating To Temporary Access
- From the left navigation menu, click Access Management.

- Select Temporary Access and page will open, displaying all active and previously generated temporary access credentials.

Creating Temporary Access
To create a new temporary access credential:
Click the Create button located at the top-right corner.

Click the Create button located at the top-right corner.

Select the desired Access Type:
QR Code
PIN
Click Next.

3. Enter the following information:

A. Basic Details
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Number
Email and text message notifications containing the temporary access details will be sent to the user. Ensure a valid email address and phone number are entered.
B. Access Start Date and Time
Choose when the access should begin:

Immediate: Access becomes active immediately after creation.

Scheduled: Access starts on a specified future date and time. When Scheduled is selected:




C. Access End Date and Time
Choose when the access should expire:

- Never: The temporary credential remains active until manually revoked.

- Scheduled: Access automatically expires at the selected date and time. When Scheduled is selected:

- Select the Access End Date


- Select the Access End Time.


After completing the details, click Next.

3. Assigning Doors

The final step is assigning doors to the temporary credential. The admin can:
- Select a specific site using the Site dropdown to filter doors.
- Use the Search doors by name field to quickly locate doors.
- Select individual doors as required or
- Select All Doors to grant access to all available doors.
After selecting the required doors, click Create
Temporary Access Log

The Temporary Access Log tab provides a history of all temporary access usage events.
Filtering Logs
Users can filter logs using:
- Name
- Date Range
- Access Type
- Direction
- Door
- Site
This allows administrators to quickly locate and review temporary access activities across locations.
Downloading Logs

The Temporary Access Logs can be downloaded using the download icon under Temporary Access Log.
